The Destruction Unknown
                      The setting was simply serene. The sky, a deep blue mass, was filled with grey and bright pink puffs of foreshadowing clouds. Below could be seen the rustic apparatus of an aging willow, violently weeping as if for a lost love. The branches reaped mourning and the roots gruesomely protruded from their Earthen prison.

ForeverSilver-ch.2- Chapter Two: The Temptation It was very close to sunset when I woke up at six in the afternoon. I found it hard to adjust to the change from autumn to winter. I looked down to see Malik still sleeping. Damn, he could sleep through a tornado. I had a hard enough time barely resting due to the sound of car horns and police sirens.      My father owned an armory shop on the Balkan peninsula from 1364 until his death in 1417. At that time, one heard more testimonies about the undead than religion itself. Rumors quickly spread if someone ‘spotted’ a demon, werewolf, or even worse, a vampire. It was no wonder my father was a wealthy man: people were afraid of everything. His name was Nicolas, but everyone called him Bullet because he always had them on hand.

Mercury SnowWhite. Pure unblemished white. There was no specks of other colors, as far as one could see. Everything was covered by the cold white paint. Except the lone figure standing in the middle of the open field, unmoving and unperturbed by the heavy snow falling around him. But even then, the figure blended in with the scene like a snow fox in its natural environment.

two years

As I look through all of my ridiculous journal entries, I find one that I wrote exactly two years ago.
Wow. Things change.
Which, that has been a good thing for me. I am content, finally, after so long.
I find myself spending many nights lying down and just staring at the stars. I am always at a loss of words. It inspires me.
Yes,I still write. In fact, I'm halfway done with another novel. It's about demons and a war between Heaven and Hell, but both of them are threatened when a new power emerges...
Anyway, I have since got my license and my car is on the damned highway. I never realized how many idiots are on the road. If you ever need a ride, then flag down the pimped-out red pontiac grand am. I'll stop, if I can slow down...
On a completely different topic, I am very lonely. Content, yes, but not .... fulfilled, I want to say. It's like nothing has a purpose anymore. Nothing. Nothing means anything to me, not really. Not friendship, not trust, not love... My life is endless, restless. I just want to be put out of my misery.
